Shrines of North America
The great
continent of North America features numerous shrines and devotional sites which
have played an important role in the fostering of the Catholic Faith in the New
World. Typically we think of only making pilgrimages to Rome, Jerusalem and the
numerous shrines/devotional sites throughout Europe. We are truly blessed to
have an incredible wealth of shrines at our very "doorstep".
Planning a
pilgrimage to the Shrines of North America affords the pilgrim the opportunity
to discover the history, sacrifice and miraculous interactions between God and
humanity on a local level. A pilgrimage can be based on: the North American
Martyrs, American Patron Saints and Blesseds, the Marian Shrines of the United
States, St. Juan Diego and the Apparition at Guadalupe (Mexico), San Miguel Del
Milagro Shrine (Mexico), Sanctuaire Notre Dame du Cap (Canada), The Missions of
San Antonio, The Californian Missions, The Historical Churches of Santa Fe, The
Major and Minor Basilicas of the United States, the Shrine of St. Jude
(Chicago) among many others.
When you desire to explore and experience
the sacred spaces of North America, give us a call. Allow us to be of service
in the planning and preparation of your next pilgrimage.
