Pope
Benedict XVI has continued the wonderful tradition of gathering young people
from around the world to celebrate their Roman Catholic Faith. From a simple
plea, by the great Pope John Paul II, has arisen one of the most profound
movements within the Church.
World Youth Days are a wonderful
opportunity for a global experience of faith. Vast numbers of young people
gather on an international level to learn, to pray, to serve and to ultimately
celebrate their Catholic Faith. Traveling as pilgrims affords the youth the
opportunity to discover Catholicism within the context of various cultures.
